The interviewer tells Elon Musk that he can start building electric airplanes since his company has got the financial benefits and can spend more on R & D.
But then Elon Musk answers back saying that having enough money doesn't mean they can spend it effectively on R & D to build an electric airplane. He said that it's incredibly difficult to find the right number of talented people and integrate them into an organisation.
The interviewer asks him if he needed more number of engineers; he responded saying that more number of exceptional engineers are required. This means that the world requires passionate and creative engineers, engineers who can deliver something magnificent, and not work like machines (just doing what they're being told to do and not at all being creative).
This podcast tells us that money alone can't build something incredible, the appropriate talented people can.
